It’s a nationwide award presentation in the UK that promotes local restaurants for their outstanding services. ARTA stands for Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards.

To nominate your favourite restaurant, go to nominate. Find the restaurant you’re looking for and select. Provide your information and submit.

Yes, you can nominate as many restaurants as you want.

A restaurant can be nominated if it fulfils the following required criteria:

  • Offering European or Asian dishes
  • Maintaining top-notch quality of food
  • Providing quality services
  • Providing value for money

If customers are satisfied with the services, they will then nominate the restaurant on ARTA’s website.

Visit business registration to register the restaurant on ARTA’s website.

The award ceremony takes place in October every year.

Voting starts at 1:00 pm (UK Time) on the 1st of January 2024.

The voting closes on June 30, 2024.

There is no entry fee to attend the ARTA award ceremony. An invitation will be sent, if your restaurant is nominated.

Anyone over 18 is eligible to vote for their favourite restaurant.

There are 16 categories for ARTA awards.

A restaurant must pass two phases before becoming Champion of Champions.

  • In the first phase, the restaurants are judged based on their customer nomination and ARTA scores.
  • In the second phase, the shortlisted candidates are judged by their regional cook-off score.

Your restaurant must be located in the UK to be eligible for the ARTA award. However, if your restaurant serves European food, you can participate from outside the UK.

If the restaurant receives a nomination, a notification will be sent either through email or a direct call will be given from the ARTA team. If the restaurant isn't listed for ARTA, our team will contact you personally to verify your nomination.

Every Asian restaurant and takeaway in the United Kingdom is eligible to get nominated for ARTA.

ARTA was first held in 2018.

The judges of ARTA 2023 were Graham Taylor, Raj Mandal, Lauren Gregg, and Mohammed Mujibur Rahman.

The results will be announced in the ARTA award ceremony at Royal Lancaster London in October 2024.

After the voting process concludes, the ARTA team will compile a shortlist of the top 10 restaurants and takeaways from each region. These select establishments will be evaluated and invited to participate in the 'ARTA Cook Off' event, a competitive culinary showdown where shortlisted businesses vie to be crowned the ultimate winner.

Following this, the top 10 finalists from each region will receive invitations to the Grand Finale, scheduled for October. It is at this prestigious event that the winners will be unveiled and the awards ceremoniously distributed.
